Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What is Disquietude?

A: Disquietude is a media source focusing on delivering "true horror" content.

Q: So, you guys are a True Crime podcast?

A: While our podcast is our main source of content currently, we are NOT a "true crime" podcast- some of the topics we present fall within the true crime category, but we cover a broad range of categories.

Q: What kind of topics do you cover on the podcast?

A: The original intent of Disquietude was to cover topics dealing with true horror born from the internet- however, it evolved organically to real horror throughout history.

Q: Do you post content and trigger warnings?

A: There are times where we may decide to add a warning to an episode, usually for anything involving children.  However, it isn't a normal practice because if you are coming to Disquietude, it is likely you know what you're getting into.

Q: What platforms is the podcast on?

A: The Disquietude podcast is available on ALL major podcast platforms.  We are sponsored by Anchor.fm, but many of our listeners prefer to listen on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, iHeartRadio, and Google Podcasts.

Q: Are podcasts your only content?

A: No, we have videos on our YouTube channel which consist of creepy narrations of real horror stories given to us by our listeners and viewers.  We will also post articles on the website occasionally.

Q: Hey, I have a story I want to tell you guys!

A:  Great!  Please send it to us via email at disquietude000@gmail.com, or go to our contact page here and fill out the form.  It is *highly* likely your story will be featured.  Be sure to let us know if you want your name credited to your story or not.

Q: How can I support Disquietude?

A: You can support us a few ways- you can become a patron via Patreon, and receive some exclusive benefits.  You can go here to have a look.  You can also donate directly via our support link on Anchor.fm here.  But donating money isn't the only way to support us.  Simply sharing a link to an episode goes a LONG way, and it doesn't cost you a thing.
